My passion for Cobras began years ago as a college student in Southern Illinois, the moment I spotted a Cobra sitting in a Ford dealership. That fascination evolved into a true pursuit years later when I began building my Hurricane big block replica. Determined to create the most authentic reproduction possible, I quickly discovered that many original-style components were either no longer available or had become prohibitively expensive.

As a lifelong gearhead, I drew on my background in art, engineering, and marketing to research, design, and develop the parts I needed for my own build. Before long, fellow enthusiasts began asking if I could supply components for their projects as well. That demand led to the creation of Period Correct, LLC — a company dedicated to providing affordable, period-correct parts and accessories for Shelby Cobra replicas.

Today, part of that same passion is devoted to this website: documenting Cobras & GT40’s, their history, and the individual cars themselves. There is much more to come in the near future.

These cars are never truly finished — and I enjoy every minute of the journey.
